She was predeceased by: her parents, Oda Brake and Zella Brake (Whitaker); her siblings, James, Lewis Brake, Elza Ray and Evelyn Pruett; her great grandchild Keaton; and her sons-in-law, Bill Gardner and Torrance Todd.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Gardner, Ester Todd and Tinsie (Rick Barlett); and her grandchildren, Tim Gardner, Terri Holt, Sheila Hampton, Teryl Todd, Seth Todd, Daniel Paul, Tara Kastning and Danica Cody. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home (407 N Mansfield Rd, Ava, MO 65608). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Harvill Cemetery. During Covid, she made many handmade masks.
