Janet Ann Johanningmeier Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on January 11, 2026, at the age of 83, Janet Ann Johanningmeier of Springfield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Basile and Virginia "Jenny" Basile (Gambino); and her in-laws, Erwin and Estelle Johanningmeier (Bulejski). She is survived by: her husband Richard; her children, Thomas (Jeannie) of Fort Worth and Lynn of San Antonio; her grandchildren, Steven, Austin, Kristin and Nicholas; and her siblings, Gerald "Jerry" Basile (Betty), Virginia "Ginger" Basile, Rosemary "Rosie" Caples (Ralph) and Margaret "Marge" Pont. She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, with countless cousins, aunts and uncles, five great-grandchildren.
