In the vast expanse of eternity, Jeff shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jeff farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his father John Clare Stone. He is survived by: his son Benjamin Parker Stone; his mother Ivonne Stone (Shortt); his brother Greg of Springfield; and his sister-in-law Dusty Stone (Winchester) of Springfield.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gorman Scharpf Funeral Home (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dugout Bar and Grill (1218 E Trafficway St, Springfield, MO 65802).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Play It Forward of Southwest Missouri, a music-education nonprofit that puts musical instruments into the hands of students who could otherwise not afford them.
