He was predeceased by: his parents, Brady Berry and Helen Louise Berry (Louise); and his brother Ronald Dean Berry. He is survived by: his wife Carmela Berry (Swearingin); his children, Brandon Berry and Emily Hines (Kyle); his siblings, Michael Berry and Tami Hartsell (Berry); and his grandchildren, Emma, Elena, Priscilla, Levi and Alyssa.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Jeff's memory to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or to the Kidney Foundation.
