He was predeceased by: his uncle David Curl; his grandparents, Jean (John Cope), Edna Spillman and Joe Curl; and his extended family Craig Ellis.

He is survived by: his parents, Jody Curl Ellis and Darrell Curl (Karen); his sisters, Amber Curl and Haley Curl; his nephews, Branch, Price and Finn; his extended family, Jen, Eric, Cam and Tuck Eden; Sam, Sheila-Momma, Chris, April, Ashley Shelton and Jerrod. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
