He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald "Ross" Edwards and Sara Davis Edwards; his in-laws, Joe and Wilma Clark; his brothers-in-law, Mike Clark and Howard Pyle; and his nephew Scott Edwards.

He is survived by: his family Springfield; his daughter Sara Leigh Edwards; his wife Dee Ann Edwards; his sister Tana Pyle; his children-in-law, Kevin Wells and Tammy Edwards; and his grandchildren, Jace Wells, Clara Wells (Hermansen), Gage Wells, D'Arcy (Edwards), Ross Shackelford and Delainey Edwards.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 25th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Home of Sara and Kevin Wells.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Springfield Catholic Schools Athletic Booster Club.
