He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis R. Burwelland Mildred Burwell and Donaldson; and his sister Ginny Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Burwell; his children, Bradley Burwell (Amy) and Ellen Wood (Carey); his stepdaughter Debbie Letterman; his grandchildren, Lauren Burwell Uhl (Joe), Emily Burwell Weiss (Andrew), Andrew Wood and Nick Wood; his great grandchildren, Peter Weiss and Betty Uhl; and his sibling's children, Jamie Lairmore Moss, Louis Lairmore and Mickey Lairmore.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield, Missouri.
