It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ellen Nielson in Springfield, Missouri, born in Shell Knob, Missouri, who passed away on September 1, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Plummer and Elaine Plummer (Wilson); her husband Don Nielsen; and her siblings, Jerry Plummer and Cherlene Plummer.
She is survived by: her children, Christy Dye (Brad), Erik Nielsen (Becky) and Pete Nielsen; and her siblings, Janice Hudson and Beverly Dent. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
