He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Maggard and Anna Lee Maggard; his daughter Amanda Rebbec; and his siblings, Barbara Groves, Doris Rowden, Larry Maggard, Linda Freeman, Gary Maggard and Sherry Maggard.
He is survived by: his close friend Janie Silkey; his sons, Foster Maggard and Nathan Maggard (Karen); his grandchildren, Avery, Skylar, Allison and Cameron; and his siblings, Wanda Turner, Ricky Maggard, Debbie Atwood, Sharon Kelly, Tina Green and Cecilian Maggard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
