He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Adams and Elizabeth Adams. He is survived by: his wife Mary Emerson Adams; his sister Sandra Jackson; his children, Jimmie Adams (Carol), Jonna Jenkins (David) and Sheryl Witt (Rod); and his stepsons, Jeff Daugherty (Linda) and Lonnie Daugherty (Diane). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
