It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John E. Dunn of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John L. Dunn and Inez Dunn (Davis); and his grandson James Kyle Bruton. He is survived by : his wife Carol Alewel; his children, Tim (Tracy), Patrice Johnson (David) and Angela Bruton (Jim); his grandchildren, Kelsey Reynolds (Will), John Dunn (Amy), Neil Johnson (Jenna), Laura Hedges (Ethan) and Halli Rainer (Matt); his great grandchildren, Jack, Matthew, Billy, Rosemary, Raylan, Wyatt, Liliana and Beau; and his sister Kathryn Neely of Springfield.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Inc. (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1415 S Holland Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
