He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Nelson and Anna Cooper (Votaw); his children, Kenny and Martha Lee; and his stepgrandson Richard Dick.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa and Jonathan; his granddaughters, Krista Cooper Westfall, Jessica Petrus (Calvin) and Kenna Cooper; and his great grandchildren, Evleah of Springfield, Jonathan Hansen of Springfield, Cooper Cummins of Springfield, Nova of Springfield and Lumen Petrus of Springfield. He is also survived by his loving wife, children, and grandchildren.
