John P. Squires Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John P. Squires of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on December 13, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Squires and Elizabeth Squires; his wife Anna Kate Strom (Katie); his brothers, Charles and Sam Squires; and his sister-in-law Patty Jo Squires.

He is survived by: his children, Chris (Sue) of Sedalia, MO, Bill (Robin) of Springfield, MO and Katherine Munson (Craig) of Wichita, KS; his grandchildren, Michael, Tom (Megan), Megan (Jason), Ryan (Lauren), Pfeifer (Alec), Bay, Stephanie, Tim (Robyn) and Drew; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Nick, Mason, Annie, Waylon, Rhett, Levi, Canon and Sloane; and his sister-in-law Neanie Squires.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the CoxHealth Foundation, 3525 South National Avenue.
