He is survived by: his wife Patty (Francis); his children, Jeannine Birkenfeld, Audrey Schilling (James) and David Thurman (Jai); his grandsons, Jackson and Maxwell Schilling; and his children, Stella, Genevieve Birkenfeld, Oliver, Owen and Lily Thurman.
