He was predeceased by: his parents, John Armel and Velma Armel-Potter (Ruhs); his grandson Andrew Mills; and his stepbrother Norman Potter. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly; his friend David Carlton; his sister Mary Norwood (Mal); his stepsiblings, Diane Brookhart (Jerry) and Jim Potter; his children, Jeannette Pinnock (Kemar), Brandon Armel-Walker, Chad Armel (Angela), Kelly Laster (Franklin) and Dixie Hepner; and his stepchildren, Jodie Moore (Eli Keeland) and Lorinda Trantham (Brad). He is also survived by 2 nieces, 19 Grandchildren, and 14 Great-grandchildren.
