We announce the death of Joy Fay Whitescarver of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on June 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Joy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Mae McCombs and Howard Lee Elliott. She is survived by: her significant other Dan Richard Whitescarver; her sons, Michael Whitescarver (Kathryn) and Todd Whitescarver (Paula); her grandchildren, Kristine, Aaron (Brooke), Joshua (Kayla) and Zander; her great grandchildren, Onyx, Jack and Ella; Jean Chrestensen (Gene).

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association.
