It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Alene Cunningham of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on April 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joyce had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joyce may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Dale and Ider Price Cunningham; her sister Mary Gail Cunningham; her nephew Gary; her niece-in-law Danette Methvin; and her nephew-in-law Billy Keeter.
She is survived by: her sister Jo Ella Methvin (Bob) of Eros; her nephew Ransey Methvin (Patty) of Harrison; and her nieces, Judy Hobbs (Steve) of Eros and Debra Keeter of Cotter. She is also survived by numerous great-nephews and great-nieces; and many other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Patton Cemetery.
