Joyce Elaine Easson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Easson of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Ivol Cornelison; her husband Charles "Chas" Henry Easson; her mother Esther Mae Cornelison (Iorg); her stepmother Leota Cornelison; her siblings, Wayne Cornelison, Densel Cornelison and Phyllis Burton; her siblings-in-law, Colleen Cornelison, Paul Vierkant and Ron Lea; and her nephew Greg Vierkant.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Leigh Easson Carr (Rick Carr) and Sara Jill Easson Long (Erich Long); her grandchildren, Riley Carr, Dalton Carr (Hannah Carr), Ryan Long, Jack Long, Lainey Long and Remmer Carr; her great grandchildren, Analise and Dawson Carr; her sisters, Wanda Lea and Wilda Vierkant; and her siblings-in-law, Winston Burton and Coleen Cornelison. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
