It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Marie Short (Springfield, Missouri), who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Marie Short to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her stepfather Royal Brewer; her mother Mary Brewer (Zarley); her brother-in-law Sonny St. Clair; and her niece Peggy Sue Lamb. She is survived by: her children, Vicki, Ricky Lamb and Tammy; her grandchildren, Jessica Stillings, Olivia Lamb and Garrett Lamb; her great grandchildren, Brynn Stillings, Ryker Cole and LillyAna Whittemore; her sister Ann St. Clair; and her nephews, Tony and Ron Strope.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, Ltd. (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807).

In lieu of flowers Joyce would have wanted donations to benefit Shriners Hospitals.
