With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Judith Carr Vanderbilt of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on April 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane Carr (Lippert) and Edward Andrew Carr; her husband George; her son Terry; and her brother Andy (Emma Jane).
She is survived by: her family Judy; her friend Marguerite Lagle; and her daughters, Judy, Helen Hamel (Ray) of Wellesley, MA, Sarah Vanderbilt of Springfield and Rebecca Vanderbilt of Blanca, CO. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Donations to organizations that support the Arts in Springfield would honor Judy's memory greatly.
