It is with great sadness that we announce the death of June Nakano of Springfield, Missouri, born in Sparta, Missouri, who passed away on January 4, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Gullet and Irene Gullet (Jenkins); her husband Stanley Nakano; and her brother Joseph Gullett. She is survived by: her children, Deborah L Demanche (Thomas), Terry W Nakano (Terri) and Gail E Nakano; her grandchildren, Shane Gold (Jacqueline), Richard Demanche, Jacob Nakano (Eva) and Jessica Nakano-Rai (Ashwin); and her close friend Cisco. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled Veterans or South Haven Baptist Church.
