With sadness, we share the passing of Kate Caroline Kumar (Springfield, Missouri). Kate, born on July 2, 1986 in Lewiston, Maine, passed away on October 20, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Francis Kumar; her husband Stephen Rogers; her grandparents, Eddy, Pauline Belisle and Barbara; and her pets, Cocoa, Lenny and Ginger.
She is survived by: her parent John; her stepmother Connie Cofer; and her pet Sam. She is also survived by her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
