He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Ransom Highfill and Laura Helen Highfill (Wommack); his brother Harold Highfill; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Ohanian and Robert Menacho.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Eugenia Highfill (Meacham); his children, Laura (John Berry) of Strafford, MO, Elaine (Joel Montgomery) of Springfield, MO and Kenneth (Barbara Highfill) of Tecumseh, KS; his sisters, Florene McNeil of Springfield, MO and Linda McGinnis of Buffalo, MO; and his grandchildren, Brandy (David Rice), Robby (Amanda Snyder), Rachel Pellham (Rebekah), Austin Lebahn (Eric), Cristen Snyder (Robert), Veronica Germann (Brittany) and Chris Childs (Ransom Germann). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
