He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sister Kay Matthews (Richard); his children, Valerie Hamlin (J. B.) of Kirksville and Andrew Thomas (Whitney) of Fort Leavenworth; and his grandchildren, Ava, Lauren Hamlin of Kirksville, MO, Austin, Jane, Eleanor and Willa Thomas of Ft. Leavenworth.
