He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Doubt and LaVaughn Doubt (Matthews); his son Christopher Brian Doubt; his sister Rita Clark; his children-in-law, Carl Lippelman, Patrick Nash and Amberly Doubt; and his grandson Ryan Lippelman.

He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Tim Doubt and Kimberley Lippelman-Nash (Doug Drake); his grandson Trevor Doubt (Jasmine); his children, Matthew Lippelman (Vanessa), Marissa Lippelman-Miller (Josh), Austin Doubt (Sheila), Joshua Lippelman-Nash (Natalie) and Kaedyn Crabtree; his great grandchildren, Kobe, Reggie, Hallie, Isaac, Evelyn and Korra; his sister Linda Hillenburg (George); and his brother-in-law Bill Clark.

He served as a leader for his son's troop and later as an adult leader where his contributions to Scouting earned him the Silver Beaver Award.
