He was predeceased by: his mother Mildred Simons; his wife Marilyn McIntyre; and his children, Debi Day and Daniel Simons. He is survived by: his father Bernard Simons; his children, Deanna Viebrock (Jeff), Larry B. Simons (Rachel) and Starla Simons (Jacob); his son-in-law Wesley Day; and his sisters, June McGough and Sheila Burgin (John).
