He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Norval Smith and Helen Geneva Smith; and his siblings, Geneva Fern Smith, Steven Craig Smith and Edward Lee Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Jeanette Smith; his children, Jeanette Lynn Felks (Dwayne) and David Lee Smith (Julie); and his grandchildren, Lynette Rashelle McEntyre (Bradley), Rebecca Sue Edwards (Alexander), McKenna Riley Smith (Pedro Padron) and Rayne Kendrick Smith. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home (2001 W Walnut Lawn St, Springfield, MO 65807).
