He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Simmons and Emma Simmons (Sullivan). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Simmons; his children, April DeVore, Tim Simmons (Venus) and Tommy Simmons (Teresa); his nephew David Simmons; and his niece DeDe Elrod. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren.
