With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leona Lenz in Springfield, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Leona left this world on July 28, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Earp and Leona M. Earp (Skidmore); and her siblings, Robert Earp, Charles Earp, Larry Earp, Parolee Themanson, Martha Cook and Mary Bushong.
She is survived by: her husband John; her son Gary (Christi) of Buford; her grandsons, Jonathan and Jacob; her daughter Michele Bassett (Steve) of Republic; her grandchildren, Brittany and Dylan; her great grandchild Sakura; her sister Effie Boock of Little York; and her sister-in-law Shirley Earp of Monmouth. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
