She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry W. Simmons and Sue C. Simmons (Fergerson). She is survived by: her sisters, Vicky Corrigan (Dennis) and Joni Seever (Mike); her daughter Christy Haslip; and her nephews, Ben Corrigan, Justin Barcomb (Rosie) and Michael. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
