Marilyn Vinson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Vinson of Springfield, Missouri, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on December 7, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Lataine (Young) and Charles Curry York; her former husband Ron; and her daughter-in-law Rose Vinson. She is survived by: her husband Gordon McAfee; her sons, Thad Vinson (Heidi) and Russell Vinson; her siblings, Robert York (Debra), Criss York (Carol) and Carolyn Alley (Donald); her granddaughter Chloe Sage Vinson; and her great grandchild Riley Rose Vinson. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
