Mark Alan McCarty Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Alan McCarty of Springfield, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James McCarty and Retha McCarty; and his siblings, Larry McCarty and Debra Lynn McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Teresa McCarty; his parents-in-law, Leon and Bonnie Rantz; his children, Patreace Meister (Ryan), Kaitlyn McCarty-Sconce (Wesley) and Kyle McCarty (Brittany); his siblings, Tom McCarty (Pat) and Jeannine Miller (Walt); his grandchildren, Kaylee, Cullen, Mason and Liam; and his great grandchild Soryn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or food, we would love to memorialize Mark with donations toward a park bench or picnic table in his honor at Roaring River State Park, when they have one available. Donations made in excess of this goal will be given to the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
