She was predeceased by: her husband Max Elmer; her daughter Tonya Elmer; her parents, Ralph Swearengin and Ruby Swearengin; and her sister Jean Ann Hall.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Elmer (James Maxwell); her sister Shirley McCauley; and her grandson Tyler Jones.
