It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Wood of Springfield, Missouri, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Chester E. Erickson; her aunt Dorothy Rathbone; and her granddaughter Erica Roxanne Wood. She is survived by: her mother Erma Rathbone Erickson; her children, Deborah Wood Cron (George), Robert Michael Wood (Melissa) and John Erickson Wood; her caregiver Mary Breslin; and her significant other Boyd.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Harmony House or the Dorothy Rathbone and Erma Erickson music scholarship at Drury University, reflecting Mary Ann's lifelong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
