She is survived by: her brother Bob Montgomery; her nephew Bobby Montgomery; her great-nephew Robert "Stevie" Littleton; her children, Kathy Johnston (Troy) and Ed Singleton; her grandchildren, Lindsey McDonald (Bryan), Tanner Johnston (Cassidy), Zach Singleton and Avery Singleton; and her great grandchild Cooper Johnston.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Coquetta's memory to The Gideon's International, Billy Graham Evangelism Association, or Samaritan's Purse.
