With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Eliza Nevius of Springfield, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis O'Dell and Laura Hayley; her husband Manuel Nevius; her children, Tim and Becky; her granddaughter Ginny; her siblings, Jim, Cora and Anna; and her siblings' children, Pam and Mark.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Bryant; her siblings, Elmo O'Dell (Donna), Peggy Barnwell, Juanita Womac and David Henry (Teresa); her grandchildren, Mark, Becky, David (Jayla) and Carol; and her great grandchildren, Joseph, Elizabeth and Jordyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cherry Street Baptist Church (1201 S Oak Grove Ave, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
