It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Helen Felin (Springfield, Missouri), born in Conway, Missouri, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Helen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Helen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gann and Ethel Gann. She is survived by: her husband Joe Felin; her children, Lisa Ritter (Tim), Beth Berns (David) and David Felin (Mar'Ellen); and her granddaughter Lydia Berns.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home (500 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools in memory of Mary Felin, this can be indicated either on the check memo line or on the online "Donation Designation" field.
