She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bales and Anna K. Bales (Steelman); her former husband Howard Sharp; her husband Bill Hixon; and her sons, Mark Anderson and Howard Sharp II.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna Sharp; her grandchildren, Kelly Anderson, Sunny Anderson, Gina Sharp, Howard Sharp III and Phillip Anderson; and her nieces, Janis McGill and Cathy Young. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
