She was predeceased by : her parents, Russell Montgomery and Vestelene Montgomery (Price). She is survived by : her daughter Amy Rhea Rutledge (Michael); her husband Donnie Rhea; her brothers, Tom Montgomery and Ed Montgomery (Susie); her grandson Jacob; her great grandchild Luvo; her son John Rhea (Nancy); and her grandchild Britney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Mary Jo's name to Ash Grove Healthcare Facility, 401 N Medical Dr, Ash Grove, MO 65604.
