It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kay Meek of Springfield, Missouri, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on July 31, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, John Ashley, Martha Ashley and Cynthia Ashley. She is survived by: her husband Terry O. Meek of Springfield; her children, Charles Meek (Laura) of Springfield, Annie Meek Montgomery (David) of Brooklyn, N. Y., Margaret Meek of Boulder, Colo. and Michael Meek (Katie) of Minneapolis, Minn.; and her siblings, James Ashley (Dorothy), Michael Ashley, Patricia Hiscock (Edward), Jane Ashley, Jennifer Blank (Martin) and Susan Pomerenke (David). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
