She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Alden and Nancy Jane Evans (Todd); her brother Dr. Richard Todd Evans (Mary Jo Evans); and her son Mark Douglas Smith. She is survived by: her sons, Craig Alden Smith (Emma) of Ozark and Paul Blake Smith of Springfield; her grandsons, Alden Thomas Smith (Kayla) of Springfield and Dr. Harper Evan Smith (Shivani) of Chicago, Illinois; and her sibling's children, Ann Self of Cashiers, Dr. David Evans of Madison and Dr. Douglas Evans (Georgia) of Chicago.
