With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy Susan Johnson of Springfield, Missouri, born in Alton, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Nancy Susan left this world on June 11, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Johnson and Margaret Johnson (Huddleston). She is survived by: her husband David Johnson of Alton; her children, Tracey Susan Adair (Johnson) of Springfield and Tyler Shane Johnson of Chicago, Illinois; her brother Craig Johnson (Kathy) of Alton, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Cooper of Springfield, Ellie of Springfield and Greyson Adair of Springfield. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home South (441 W Battlefield Rd, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church (935 S Campbell Ave, Springfield, MO 65806). A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Huddleston Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Nancy's memory to Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks (bcfo.org), or to Jefferson Avenue Baptist Church (JABC.churchcenter.com/giving – select "Nancy Johnson Memorial Fund" from the drop down menu).
