It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nellie Francis Chopski (Springfield, Missouri), who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurlow Green and Mae Murray; and her son Darrell Vic Chopski. She is survived by: her husband Don Chopski; her sons, Charles Russell and Guy Chopski; her siblings, Kenneth Green, Judy Lawson and Dorthy Burgess; and her grandson Chase Russell. She is also survived by three grandchildren.

She studied the Old Hebrew lanuage from the Old Testament and during Covid she taught herself to read any book in the braille language.
