She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Penny and Gladys Penny; and her siblings, Al Penny and Julia Denwalt. She is survived by: her husband Fred Lorenz; her daughters, Sheri Duncan (Donny) of Nixa, MO, Deborah Meinsen (Jim) of Galena, MO and Pamela Williams (Ronnie) of Olive Branch, MS; and her sister-in-law Patti Penny of Springfield, MO. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home North Conducted (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65803). A burial was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at the Cemetery Greenlawn Memorial Gardens (3506 N National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fair Haven Children Home, 3132 N Fairhaven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757 in Norma's honor, an organization close to her heart.
