With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Paul Dean Latimer of Springfield, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Latimer and Ethel Latimer; and his siblings, John, Roy Jr., Loyce, Fayrene and Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Latimer; his children, Brad Latimer and Julie Crowe (Jody); his brother David Latimer; and his granddaughter Kennedy Flanner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Greenlawn Funeral Home East (3540 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65809). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at the Cemetery Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
In addition to flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Paul's honor.
