He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Simpson and Norma Simpson; his stepmother Betty; his grandparents, Spenser and BeBe; and his aunt Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Louise "Miss Ellie"; his children, Sam, Dani, Adam, Jennifer and Phillip; his stepchildren, Luke, Mallory, Connie, Kyler, Kelly, Brian, Carter, Caitlin, Jordan and Clinton; his grandchildren, Shylie, Alyssa of Spencer, AJ, Zaylen, Jazmyn, Delaney, Jack, Wyatt, Beatrice, Ezeriah, Rueben, Cecilia, Lorelai and Gillian; and his siblings, Gilbert, Joy, Angela, Jimmy, Patty, Clifford, Jonathan and Charley Jo. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends.
