He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ames (Forsythe); his sons, Jim Ames (Carol), Mike Ames (Pam) and Dan Ames (Carol); his daughter-in-law Jill Ames; his stepchildren, Scarlett Dennis (Jim), Sharon Forsthye-Duncan (Rex), Susan Hoffstetter (Jeff), Sandy Trobaugh (Bob) and Robin Forsythe (Frank Cassella); and his grandchildren, Angelica, Jameson, Sarah, Jessica, Amos, Patrick, Tyson, Kyle, Amanda, Matthew, Angela, Leah, Brett, Ann Marie, Marshall, Dana, Rachel and Nathan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and 31 great-grandchildren.
