It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Sue Hightower of Springfield, Missouri, born in Grovespring, Missouri, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Jones and Amy Jones (Hamilton); her husband Billy Owen Hightower; her siblings, Helen Hightower, Joyce Hicks, Mary Todd and Robert Jones; and her pet Sasha.
She is survived by: her daughter Starlene Broesder (Dale); her brother Rolland "Pooch" Jones (Beverly); her grandsons, Michael Weaver and Matthew Broesder (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Lily Weaver, Emma Broesder and Avery Broesder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fraker Funeral Home, Inc. (1131 State Hwy A, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
