He is survived by: his wife Joyce Colter; his children, Steven Colter (Adele), Mark Colter (Lisa) and Carole Austin (David Matthews); his sister Marla Cripe (Roger); his grandchildren, Cameron Colter (Christine) and Ashley Colter (Brian); and his stepgrandson Jon Bossaller (Sammie). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
