He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael "Jack" Gardner and Lucille Glidewell Gardner; and his son Mark. He is survived by: his close friend Vaunda Long; his wife Vaunda; his daughters, Brenda Gardner (Beth) and LaVada Carnahan (Bryan); his grandchildren, Rance, Zane Gardner and Alysha Mooneyham; his great grandchild Cooper Hill; and his brothers, Lendsie, Jim and Archie.
A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Nixa Church of the Nazarene.
